Jonathan Lopez, MD, FAAD, FACMS
Dr. Jonathan Lopez is a native Floridian who completed his Mohs surgery fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota under world-renowned Mohs surgeons. He is double board-certified with certifications in both Dermatology and Micrographic (Mohs) Dermatologic Surgery.
Since completing his fellowship in 2018, Dr. Lopez has personally performed over 10,000 Mohs micrographic surgery procedures, including 1,757 in 2025. Over 70% of his Mohs cases are performed on the head, neck, or other anatomically sensitive sites where reconstruction technique determines the cosmetic outcome.
He has published and spoken extensively on Mohs surgery, wound healing, reconstructive surgery, and management of complex skin cancers.
